Аннотация

The potential infinity of division of each individual cell makes it necessary to have a complex system of cell proliferation regulation for modern multicellular organisms. It has been shown that interacting growing cell populations form several levels of regulation in order to maintain the structural integrity of a single biosystem and control the processes of tissue regeneration and self-renewal. It has been shown that at the intercellular level of proliferation regulation for diverse cell populations, a self-organizing and self-regulating suprasystem, i.e., the cellular hypercycle, is formed. This paper presents data indicating the need for a specialized cellular system to regulate cell proliferation across all body tissues. According to the literature, these cells comprise specific T-lymphocyte populations that regulate somatic cell proliferation and differ from the immune system proper. A new theory of immunity formation and a new immune theory of aging are proposed.
