Annotation

The monograph examines and investigates the main problems associated with the development of an intelligent problem solver for autonomous intelligent mobile systems for various purposes, capable of purposefully functioning in a priori undescribed and underdetermined conditions of a complex problematic environment. To ensure high functionality of intelligent systems, by analogy with a person, the necessity of developing cognitive tools for their visual-effective, visual-figurative and conceptual or abstract thinking is substantiated. Each type of thinking is discussed, which endows autonomous intelligent mobile systems with the ability to organize appropriate goal-seeking activities related to solving behavioral problems in problematic environments with different levels of a priori uncertainty. Cognitive tools for each type of thinking have been developed that allow intelligent systems to plan goal-seeking activities in real a priori undescribed and underdetermined problematic environments. The book is intended for specialists dealing with issues related to the development of models for the representation and processing of knowledge of autonomous intelligent mobile systems for various purposes. It can be useful for graduate students and senior students studying the discipline "Intelligent Systems".
