Results of the Vladivostok AI Week 2021 web conference for young scientists


An online conference Vladivostok AI Week 2021 took place between 22 and 26 November. It was conducted by the Institute of Automation and Control Processes of the Far Eastern branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Far Eastern Federal University and the Institute of Information Technologies of the Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service.

A number of leading specialists from the Russian Association for Artificial Intelligence read lectures to students and young scientists, covering a number of relevant topics. Among the speakers was the head of the 75th department of RAIRI professor Boris Kobrinsky who discussed the state and trouble spots of artificial intelligence in medicine:

The head of the 71th department Aleksandr Panov also made a tribute with his lecture Integration of Behavior Planning and Reinforcement Learning in Mobile Robotechnology:

In addition, an IT hackathon took place during the conference, with several teams of students working on innovative solutions under the guidance of business experts from FarPost and Rhonda Software companies; the most talented students were chosen for internship.
