The paper presents a systematic approach to modeling the hierarchical mechanisms of the aging process in multicellular organisms. A systematic approach allows us to replace the consideration of the material structure of the system under study with consideration of essential relationships, basic patterns and principles, to move from a variety of specific mechanisms to the cause as the ideal principle and essence of aging, and also to understand how the general principle is implemented by specific mechanisms, which gives an idea of the main ways of influencing the aging process. The causes, 3 global ways (directions) of aging processes, syndromes and manifestations of aging are highlighted. Modern possibilities of influence are aimed at syndromes, whereas strategically optimal effects on the processes of aging regulation.
