Mentality as culturally specific world view

Annotation

The concept "mentality" has been entered into social sciences by the representatives of the French school of "Annals" studying collective representations. In this representation of mentality as pictures of the world of social group the temporary component is emphasized. One of approaches to studying of mental processes of Z. Dyubi considers studying of language (lexicon, grammatical structures and their changes eventually). Within the domestic researches in the field of history of mentalities works of A.Y. Gurevich who considered are the most known, the mentality reflects the special atmosphere, specifics of the world view of society of this or that era. Use and an operationalization of categories "mentalities" as one of types of a world view will allow to model social representations taking into account ethnocultural specifics, mental processes within new approaches on creation of a picture of the world artificial intelligence.
